This week, Room 8 began the first of their weekly trips to the Princess Royal Harbour foreshore. Students had a choice of nine tasks from different learning areas such as English, Art and Mathematics. Students learned about some of the species that are around the intertidal zones of Rushy Point. During class lessons, students have been learning about the adaptations of fish that help them survive in particular marine environments. The students then designed their own fish based on a particular scenario and environment that their fish will need to be adapted to. Some very creative fish designs were produced by the Year 4/5 students.
