Offer Family 's Hike for Hospice

We would like to share the journey of one of LGPS's families as they raise money for Albany Community Hospice.................

As previously reported in the E-News , the Offer Family headed off for their first leg of the Bibblmun Track during the Term 3 school holiday break.

The Four Boys, One Man (as dad likes to refer to the team) made great progress on their first leg of there planned epic journey.  After some fun and a quick practice trek around Rottness Island the team managed to walk all the way to Jarrahdale.  The official Bibblmun Track starts at Kalamunda, but the boys did extra kilometers walking all the way from Fremantle.

With the help of the Chariot (a pram) to carry the heavy backpack and the ocassional tired child,  the family greatly enjoyed the whole experience.  They walked through different types of forest areas, camping at creeks and rivers and saw many plants and animals.

They are looking forward to commencing the next leg of the track in the next school holiday break.

What a great bonding experience for a family and wonderful fundraising for Albany's Hospice.  Good luck with your adventure.
