Our Eco Schools Committee members, gathered the collection containers from each classroom this week and used their amazing maths skills to count, collate and record on a graph how many 'tags' have been collected. You will be astounded to know that we have saved 2635 bread tags from landfill in just 2 Terms! What a great effort. Thank you to all the families who are participating in this great initiative. We are sure that there are many more bread tags being used in our school community so please get involved, it is easy and fun to do. Collect the tags at home and then put them in your classroom collection container - we will do the rest for you. Also ask your friends and relatives to start collecting tags for you - and we will see how many bread tags we can collect as a school community. The Albany Eco House has kindly agreed to accept bulk donations of bread tags from us, as they are the local Collection Point in Albany for the "Bread Tags for Wheelchairs" program, so we will take this first big bag full to them next week.
